AI Usage Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-07
AlverHub is a directory of AI tools, so it is a fair question to ask how we ourselves use AI. This page is a direct, honest answer.
Where automation is involved
New tool listings reach our catalog two ways: an admin-reviewed public submission, or automated imports from real, structured sources (GitHub lists, CSV/JSON feeds, RSS feeds). Every import is checked against the existing catalog for duplicates before publishing. Editorial content — articles, guides, and comparisons — is produced and reviewed by our editorial team before publishing; AI-assisted research and drafting tools may be used as part of that process, the same way a writer might use any other software tool, but every published piece goes through human editorial review before it goes live.
What is never AI-generated
A tool's Quality Score is a deterministic formula computed from real, observable signals — never an AI opinion or rating. Reviews and ratings are written by real users and reflect their own opinions. We do not generate fake reviews, fake ratings, or fake testimonials, for any tool, sponsored or not. See our Editorial Policy and Review Methodology for the full mechanics.
Our "never fabricate" rule
Across every part of the site — tool descriptions, pricing, articles, comparisons — we do not invent facts we haven't verified. Where information isn't available, we say so or omit the claim, rather than filling the gap with a plausible-sounding guess. This applies whether a piece of content involved AI assistance or not.
Corrections
If you believe something on the site is inaccurate — including something you suspect was affected by an automation or import error — see our Corrections Policy for how to report it.
