Agentcard is a Y Combinator-backed startup that gives AI agents secure, controlled payment capabilities, bridging agent requests and real-world checkouts. Through the Agentcard Wallet, users connect existing cards or issue new Agentcards, and agents access single-use or limited-use card numbers for specific transactions, with real card numbers kept in Agentcard's vault. A Purchase API provides direct integrations with 100+ merchants (including DoorDash, Good Eggs, and Uber Eats), letting agents complete purchases via API calls instead of browser automation. Companies can issue branded Agentcards accepted at Visa merchants worldwide with spending caps, and the wallet plugs into Claude, Cursor, or custom agents via MCP. Agentcard handles KYC, fraud, and chargebacks on behalf of platforms.
