AutoEdit is a plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro that automates the tedious first pass of video editing, removing silences, filler words, repeated takes, and bad attempts to create a cleaner rough cut that editors can then refine. Silence and filler removal automatically eliminates dead air and verbal tics, AI context editing powered by Claude understands what is being said and builds a smarter rough cut, and bad take detection identifies failed attempts and stutters for automatic removal. Auto captions transcribe and generate captions in 99+ languages, podcast mode detects active speakers and switches camera angles automatically for multicam podcasts, and auto reframe converts horizontal videos to vertical format without manual keyframing.
