Groq provides fast, low-cost AI inference through GroqCloud, a cloud platform built on the company's own LPU (Language Processing Unit) chip, which Groq has developed since 2016 specifically for inference workloads. The service is aimed at developers and enterprises building AI applications where response speed and cost matter, and is used by companies including Dropbox, Vercel, Chevron, Canva, and Robinhood.
