Marmot

Marmot is an open-source, MIT-licensed CLI tool that enables agents to access AI models, web search, and data enrichment through a unified interface without overwhelming context windows. It supports numerous AI platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama) and data sources (Brave, Exa, Firecrawl, Apollo, Hunter), with shell-native workflows that let commands be piped together to compose agent tasks without bloating primary context. A caching system skips duplicate calls for instant, free responses, session tracking maintains logs across multiple calls, preset configurations save reusable flag bundles, and a chat mode builds context incrementally with automatic compression.
