Sentinel, by Avea Robotics, is an infrastructure platform that lets operators remotely manage robot deployments, combining teleoperation, autonomous operation, and human oversight to keep robots functioning from initial deployment through fleet-scale operations. Teleoperation lets operators remotely control robots in real time through cameras and controls over Wi-Fi or LTE with low-latency video feeds, while hybrid autonomy runs autonomy software for routine tasks and lets human operators intervene when failures occur, saving the intervention for future automated resumption. Sentinel works with existing robots — arms, humanoids, drones, and AMRs — through ROS 2, Python, and C++ interfaces without requiring proprietary hardware, and a fleet operations dashboard centrally monitors multiple robots, operators, and alerts.
