TextBlob

TextBlob is an open-source Python library, maintained by Steven Loria, that provides a simple, consistent API for common natural language processing tasks. It supports noun phrase extraction, part-of-speech tagging, tokenization, and n-gram generation, along with sentiment analysis and text classification using Naive Bayes or Decision Tree models. TextBlob also handles word inflection, lemmatization, spelling correction, and parsing, and integrates with WordNet for lexical lookups. It is installed via pip (pip install -U textblob), with source code hosted on GitHub and packages published on PyPI, and it supports custom models and additional languages through extensions.
