WhoAmILookingFor is a free, non-commercial browser tool that turns a user's exported LinkedIn connections CSV into a private, semantic search engine over their own network, letting them find specific people by describing who they're looking for. Data stays completely private and local — nothing leaves the browser. It offers three search approaches: an LLM-plus-agent BM25 method, an embeddings-based agent, or a hybrid combining both, with smart query rewriting that runs local BM25 search over the CSV and then re-ranks results using an in-browser SmolLM2 agent. Example use cases include finding fintech experts, AI sales contacts, or climate-tech investors within a personal network. The tool is entirely free and built as a non-commercial project, not affiliated with LinkedIn.
