WhoDB

WhoDB is a lightweight, self-hosted database workspace for browsing, editing, and querying databases from the browser, as a desktop app, or from the terminal via its own CLI. It offers a spreadsheet-style grid for browsing and editing data with sorting, filtering, and inline editing, an interactive graph for visualizing how tables relate to each other, a multi-cell query scratchpad with autocomplete and history, and import/export tools including mock-data generation for development and testing. AI features are entirely optional: users can connect Ollama, OpenAI, Anthropic, LM Studio, or another OpenAI-compatible provider to ask questions about their data in plain English, and the CLI also exposes an MCP server for use from within agent sessions. WhoDB Community supports a wide range of databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB/TiDB, SQLite/DuckDB, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, ClickHouse, and several others, with feature support varying by database. It runs via a single Docker command.
