Zo is a cloud-based personal computer platform that runs 24/7, combining AI capabilities with web hosting so users can build websites, automate tasks, and manage business and personal life through an AI agent interface. Created by cofounders Rob (first engineer at Substack) and Ben (early engineer at Stripe), and backed by the Collison brothers (Stripe founders) and Guillermo Rauch (Vercel), it offers a personal cloud computer with an always-on AI agent, website and portfolio building, and community spaces with messaging. Zo includes business automations, access to multiple AI models for chat, media generation, and audio transcription, integration with external tools and API providers, and personal cloud storage with no centralized data collection. Launched in June 2025 and described as 'the original OpenClaw,' it functions as a fully operational, independent product with active community involvement and regular updates. Pricing is freemium: a 14-day free trial with limited AI models requires no credit card, with paid plans needed for continued access after the trial expires.
