Glaze

Glaze, made by Raycast, lets users build custom desktop applications for macOS by describing what they want in natural language, with an AI agent handling the technical implementation so people can create personal utilities, team tools, and workflow automations without coding knowledge. It offers AI-powered app creation through conversation, a local-first architecture where built apps run offline on the user's own machine, and OS integration with file system access and keyboard shortcuts. Glaze includes in-app annotation for refining apps directly with the AI agent, public and private app distribution options, support for custom API and AI model integrations, and a community app store for discovering apps others have built. Currently in beta, it requires macOS Tahoe and Apple Silicon, with Windows and Linux support planned. Pricing is freemium: users can build with Glaze's own models using credits or connect their own Claude subscription; publishing to the public store and downloading others' apps is free, a Pro plan enables unlisted publishing, and Team Stores are currently free during beta.
