LeanCTX, designed and developed by Swiss company Thinkery GmbH, optimizes context delivery for AI coding agents by compressing file reads, shell output, and search results to reduce token waste and costs. Read compression leverages tree-sitter AST analysis across 27 languages to extract structural information rather than raw content, and shell intelligence includes 95+ compression patterns for tools like git, cargo, npm, and docker. Persistent memory maintains a knowledge graph of architectural decisions and code patterns across sessions, agent coordination lets multiple agents collaborate through shared sessions without duplicating context, and verification and tracking provide a signed ledger documenting compression ratios and token savings. It connects via MCP server to Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cline, and GitHub Copilot.
