Scritty

scritty, developed by scritty.org and open source on GitHub, is a terminal emulator that automatically captures conversations between users and AI coding agents like Claude, Copilot, and Codex, building a unified, searchable memory corpus instead of leaving each agent's history in an isolated silo. It detects the agent running inside it and captures both sides of every exchange without requiring plugins, offers cross-agent hybrid vector and keyword search, and syncs sessions in real time across native desktop, browser PWA, and phone. An MCP integration lets agents query captured memory directly, a rules engine lets users write instructions once in a prompt.toml file and apply them across all agents, and it works with tmux, capturing separate pane conversations independently.
