Text Generator

Text Generator is an open-source AI routing platform, made by a New Zealand-based company, that provides unified access to multiple AI models through a single API, handling chat, code generation, vision tasks, speech processing, and text generation by automatically selecting the best model for each request or letting users choose specific models. It offers a single API endpoint accessing 17 leading AI providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Mistral AI, automatic model selection via 'Auto' routing that matches tasks to optimal models, and an OpenAI-compatible API for easy integration. Text Generator includes built-in fallback providers for reliability, a web-based playground and chat interface with built-in tools, and speech-to-text and text-to-speech capabilities alongside bulk text generation and vision/image understanding. The code is fully open source and available on GitHub. Pricing is freemium: an unlimited subscription provides unrestricted chat, UI tools, and API access, or users can choose pay-as-you-go with optional API credits and no subscription required.
